| What's New in Mrs. Holland's Class? |
On September 18th, Newschannel 4 surprised me with the news that I was a
recipient of the Golden Apple Award. At the end of the last school year, my student
teacher Mrs. Kipling nominated me for the award. She and all of the students in my
class wrote in to WYFF to tell why they loved having me as their teacher. I was
stunned by the news, but I was very grateful. You can view the segment that aired

bottom of my heart!! This was a HUGE honor, and I appreciate you thinking of me
in such a special way!
